چکیده

Algorithm-Assisted Bioprinting In article number 2204316, Kan Wang, Jinwu Wenguo Cui, and co-workers develop a stepwise algorithm-assisted bioprinting technology for the construction of biomimetic tissues with customizable anisotropic microstructure. Anisotropic mesh patterns minimum free energy are generated according to tissue-specific requirements subsequently programmed into optimized printing paths. After combining calcium phosphorus-based bioink, technique successfully customizes bones chemical compositions, microstructures, biological properties.

Engineering Anisotropic Biomimetic Fibrocartilage Microenvironment by Bioprinting Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Nanoliter Gel Droplets

Over the past decade, bioprinting has emerged as a promising patterning strategy to organize cells and extracellular components both in two and three dimensions (2D and 3D) to engineer functional tissue mimicking constructs. So far, tissue printing has neither been used for 3D patterning of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in multiphase growth factor embedded 3D hydrogels nor been investigated phe...

construction of vector fields with positive lyapunov exponents

in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...

Three-dimensional bioprinting of thick vascularized tissues.

The advancement of tissue and, ultimately, organ engineering requires the ability to pattern human tissues composed of cells, extracellular matrix, and vasculature with controlled microenvironments that can be sustained over prolonged time periods. To date, bioprinting methods have yielded thin tissues that only survive for short durations. To improve their physiological relevance, we report a ...

Deterministically patterned biomimetic human iPSC-derived hepatic model via rapid 3D bioprinting.

The functional maturation and preservation of hepatic cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) are essential to personalized in vitro drug screening and disease study. Major liver functions are tightly linked to the 3D assembly of hepatocytes, with the supporting cell types from both endodermal and mesodermal origins in a hexagonal lobule unit. Although there are many re...

Small-Scale Fabrication of Biomimetic Structures for Periodontal Regeneration

The periodontium is the supporting tissues for the tooth organ and is vulnerable to destruction, arising from overpopulating pathogenic bacteria and spirochaetes. The presence of microbes together with host responses can destroy large parts of the periodontium sometimes leading tooth loss. Permanent tissue replacements are made possible with tissue engineering techniques. However, existing peri...
